Shooting, chase in Bossier City leads to multiple arrests

Multiple suspects were arrested late Monday after a shooting investigation led to a chase.

Bossier City police and fire personnel responded at nearly 11 p.m. Feb. 10 to a shooting at a residence in the 1900 block of Alison Avenue. When they arrived, police located an unresponsive adult male with an apparent gunshot wound to the chest.

After pursuing a suspect vehicle, Police then pursued a suspect’s vehicle, ending the chase near the Jimmie David Bridge. Several subjects were detained as a result.

Shreveport police also assisted in locating those subjects.

The gunshot victim was transported to LSU Oschner hospital.

This is a preliminary report based on early information from the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
