Bossier deputies were dispatched to Cypress Black Bayou Recreation Area in Benton shortly after 11 a.m. today in response to a report of an electrical accident in which one person died and two people were injured.
Brandon Beaver, 34, of Shreveport, was killed by an electrical shock while working on a ground-level transformer. Two other men, one an electrical contractor and one a park employee, were injured in the incident. Both men were taken to area hospitals with non life-threatening injuries.
Bossier Sheriff’s investigators have deemed the incident a tragic accident.
