Parkway and Airline split boys and girls district soccer games Thursday night at Tinsley Park.
Airline won the boys game 1-0 in overtime. Parkway won the girls game 3-0.
Elsewhere, Bossier’s boys and girls teams lost close District 1-III games at Evangel. The boys fell 2-1 and the girls lost 2-0.
Nick Rizzo scored the game’s only goal in the Airline boys’ victory. Ryan Jameson had the assist. Collin Jimes had five saves.

Airline, the defending district champion, improved to 11-5-1 overall and 5-1 in district. Captain Shreve is the only team without a district loss.
Mackenzie Kleinpeter continued her outstanding season with two goals in the Lady Panthers’ victory.
Madeline Wheelahan also scored a goal, and Sara Funderburk had two assists.
Parkway improved to 10-5-2 overall and 8-2 in district play with two games left. Airline dropped to 6-12 and 2-4. The Lady Vikings still have four district games left.
Airline won the junior varsity game 1-0.
At Evangel, the Lady Kats hung with Evangel despite only having seven players available. Bossier goalkeeper Alyssa Tuggle saved 20 of 22 shots.
Also playing well, according to Bossier coaches, were Jesenia Rosales, Keona Sinnie, Karla Cruz, Iris Rosario, Ashley Luna and Ellen Frizzel.
Baha Abdelrahim scored Bossier’s lone goal in the boys game and and came close to scoring the tying goal as time expired.
In a girls Division I-I game Monday night, Haughton downed Southwood 6-1.
Genet Leist, Amanda Simmons, Paige Hendrix, Taylor Breed, Ciara White, and Makaylin Lewis all scored goals for the Lady Bucs.
Parkway is hosting a boys and girls junior varsity tournament today and Saturday at Tinsley Park.
Benton, Airline and two Parkway teams among the 10 teams in the girls’ field.
The eight-team boys’ field includes Parkway, Airline and Bossier.
