(Updated) Soccer: Four parish teams make playoffs

Four Bossier Parish high school soccer teams have qualified for the state playoffs.

The Benton boys and girls teams made the Division II playoffs. The Parkway girls and Airline boys made the Division I tournament.

District 1 champion Benton (14-6-2) is the only parish team that will host a home game. Based on unofficial power ratings, the No. 12 seed Tigers will face No. 21 Belaire (4-7-4). Airline (13-9), the No. 28 seed, will travel to Baton Rouge to take on No. 5 Catholic (14-1-5).

District 1 runner-up Parkway (15-9-5), the No. 21 seed in Division I girls, heads to Baton Rouge for a 5 p.m. game Friday against No. 12 Baton Rouge High (18-6-3). Benton (9-8), the No. 21 seed in Division II, travels to New Orleans to face No. 12 Ursuline Academy at 3:30 p.m. Friday at Audubon Riverview Park.

Parkway was also seeded No. 21 last season. The Lady Panthers upset No. 12 Acadiana 3-2 in Lafayette.
