Miranda Young blasted two home runs as the Airline Lady Vikings extended their winning streak to 10 with a 23-6 rout of Caddo Magnet Tuesday at Magnet.
Airline improved to 13-5 overall and 3-0 in District 1-5A.
The Lady Vikings rolled up 20 hits in the game.
Young also had two doubles and was 4-for-4 with four RBIs. Louisiana Tech signee Katie Smith smacked three doubles and had four RBIs.
Madison Rowland had three hits, including two doubles. Brooke Daugherty and Lindsay Fronzaglio had three hits each. Kayla Ranit went 2-for-4 with two RBIs.
Elsewhere in District 1-5A Tuesday, Haughton dropped a 15-4 decision to Byrd at home.
Lacey Dodson had a two-run homer for the Lady Bucs (13-8, 1-1). Brooke Payton went 2-for-4. Haley Miller had a double.
Shelby Spruiell had five of Byrd’s 17 hits. The Lady Jackets improved to 13-5 overall and are tied for the lead with Airline at 3-0.
