The South Bossier Lunch Group gathered on Dec. 11, 2024, for its monthly meeting at the Bellaire South Complex in Bossier City, continuing its tradition of uniting local leaders, business owners, and stakeholders to foster community growth and collaboration.
This month’s meeting featured a special guest speaker, Stacy Eppers from Geaux 4 Kids, an organization dedicated to supporting foster children across Louisiana. Eppers highlighted the impactful mission of Geaux 4 Kids, emphasizing the critical services and support the organization provides to some of the state’s most vulnerable children.
“The goal with Geaux 4 Kids is to bridge that immediate crisis for the children and the foster parent. Everything we provide is new—that’s for many reasons. But the main reason is to give hope and inspire those children who just went through a traumatic experience,” Eppers said.
The luncheon was generously sponsored by Mondello Scaffolding, with support from Klay Mondello, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for attendees.
The goal of the South Bossier Lunch Group is to bring together men and women in the South Bossier community who want to stay informed and make a difference. The group envisions the luncheon as an opportunity for business owners, stakeholders, community leaders, and partners to connect, network, and discuss the growth, development, and future of South Bossier and Bossier City.
The South Bossier Lunch Group serves as a vital forum for fostering collaboration and sharing information about initiatives that impact the local area. Events like these underscore the commitment of South Bossier residents to shaping a thriving, united community.
