According to the Bossier Parish Police Jury’s website, high waters on a tributary of Flat River has compromised a portion of the bridge on Swan Lake Rd. in southern Bossier Parish. Parish Engineer Butch Ford said the bridge would be closed until further notice. Parish officials said the damage to the bridge cannot be determined until waters recede.
