The St. Charles Court HOA presented this month’s Beautification Award to Lauren Johnston and Sabrina Isebaert, of 417 Magazine Ct. in the St. Charles Court & St. Charles Court Village Subdivision.
Their front lawn offers only a small glimpse of the haven that can be found once you enter the backyard’s gate. From Sombreuil and New Dawn climbing roses to an explosion of colors offered by a variety of poppies, cosmos, lilies and gladioli, the garden is a feast for the senses.
Master Gardner, Lauren Johnston, landscaped their lawn from the ground up after moving here in 2006. She maintains it herself with the help of Mr. Akbar Shakoor. Two patios and a lap pool add to the beauty of their home. These provide areas where one can relax and enjoy not only the beauty and fragrance of flowers, but also the frequent visitation by blue birds, cardinals and purple martins.
