Are you in need of a spiritual boost? Or desire to be a better Catholic spouse, parent or friend? Attend one of the upcoming Men or Women’s ACTS retreats this fall. You will walk away from the retreat a different person. The experience will “jump-start” and renew your faith.
ACTS stands for Adoration, Community, Theology and Service. The three-day Catholic retreat is presented mainly by lay men and women of faith from our community in Northwest Louisiana. The retreats are held in a special, peaceful and quiet environment which allows you to relax and focus on your faith journey.
Holy Scripture and the teachings of the Catholic Church are the guides for the movement. Spiritual direction is also available. The Men’s ACTS weekend begins the evening of Thursday, September 26, and ends with Mass at St. Jude Catholic Church in Bossier City on Sunday, September 29. The Women’s retreat begins the evening of Thursday, October 10 and ends Sunday, October 13 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Shreveport.
