Narcotics agents with the Bossier Sheriff-Police Narcotics Task Force arrested the owner of the Triple JJJ convenience store at the 1600 block of Benton Rd. in Bossier City for selling alcohol without a permit.

SheriffLogoMaysara L. Maarouf, 56, of the 8500 block of Chalmette Dr. in Shreveport, was charged with operating without a permit after she sold alcohol to an undercover agent. Her son, Samer N. Hajaj, 25, also of the 8500 block of Chalmette Dr., was also arrested on the same charge. Their bonds were set at $1,000 each.

Louisiana Revised Statute 26:275 says, “No person shall do any act for which a permit is required by this Chapter or by local authorities acting hereunder unless he holds the proper state and local permits.”

The Bossier Sheriff-Police Narcotics Task Force comprises deputies with the Bossier Sheriff’s Office and officers with the Bossier City Police Department.
