Airline, Benton, Parkway and Bossier picked up sub-varsity football victories on Monday.
In junior varsity games, Airline defeated Evangel 28-13, Bossier downed North Caddo 34-7 and Parkway defeated Haughton 34-20. In a freshman game, Benton defeated North Webster 28-14.
David Maxey scored two rushing touchdowns in Airline’s victory. Tarik Demery ran for one TD and passed for another to Nate Fullilove.
Kobe Johnson had a fumble recovery. Nathan Otis made all four of his PAT attempts.
Justin Rogers ran for two touchdowns and passed for one in Parkway’s victory.
Rogers’ touchdown runs covered 10 and 3 yards. His TD pass went to Micah Wager for 8 yards.
EJ Williams returned a kickoff 70 yards for a touchdown. Kendall Brown also scored on a 40-yard run.
Jacoby Decker rushed for 160 yards and scored two touchdowns in Bossier’s victory.
Montrez Henderson gained 75 yards on just two carries and also went the distance. Henderson also had a great game defensively with six tackles and an interception return for a touchdown.
Jodarius Robinson had 10 carries for 105 yards.
Mychal Green led the defense with seven tackles. Shucurio Thomas had six. Daniel Moore and Dennis Taylor had four each.
Jabraylon Brown had two tackles and one pass deflection. Adrian Carradine had three tackles and two pass deflections.
Brad Fream passed for three touchdowns in Benton’s freshman victory.
Fream’s TD pass went to Ethan Yarbrough (65 yards), Bubba Osby (55 yards) and Legend Denler (12 yards).
Cole Horton scored on a 25-yard run. Max Kenyan kicked four PATs.
