The Benton Tigers defeated the Haughton Buccaneers 27-16 in a freshman game Tuesday at Benton.
Evan Cole and Trent Williams scored two touchdowns each for the Tigers.
Cole returned a kickoff 70 yards for a score and caught and 11-yard pass from Caleb Cassidy.
Williams scored on runs of 3 and 1 yards.
RJ Moore scored three two-point conversions.
Haughton’s Elton Bryant scored from 3 yards out. Coleman Stafford tossed a 50-yard TD pass to Joshua Sewell. Bryant scored both conversions.
