Sub-varsity football: Haughton, Parkway, Bossier get wins

Haughton, Parkway and Bossier posted sub-varsity football victories on Monday.

In freshman action, Haughton defeated Southwood 20-0 at Southwood to improve to 4-0. In junior varsity action, Parkway downed Byrd 21-8 at Preston Crownover Stadium and Bossier dropped Woodlawn 26-12 at Bossier.

At Southwood, Tristan Sweeney, Keyshawn Davis and CJ McWilliams scored touchdowns in Haughton’s victory.

Sweeney scored on a 14-yard run, and McWilliams went in from 10 yards out. Davis returned an interception 80 yards.

McWilliams also forced a safety. Dillion Frazier led the defense with five tackles.

At Parkway, Amani Larry scored on an 8-yard run and threw a 45-yard touchdown pass to Kobe Gill. Alijah Barnett scored on a 17-yard run. Codie Bickel recovered a fumble.

At Bossier, Isaiah Wallace scored two rushing touchdowns, and Jacoby Decker had one. Reginald Burns returned an interception for a touchdown. The Bearkats led 26-0 at the half.

Defensive standouts included Burns, Michael Green and Joe Robinson.
