The Parkway Panthers and Bossier Bearkats picked up sub-varsity football victories Monday.
Parkway swept Airline at Freedom Fields, taking the JV game 19-7 and the freshman game 28-26. Bossier closed its JV season with a 14-6 win over Benton.
Justin Rogers ran five yards for a touchdown and passed 45 yards to Derious Bradford in Parkway’s JV victory. EJ Williams also scored on a 10-yard run.
Zeke McKnight returned kickoffs 85 and 80 yards for touchdowns in the freshman victory.
Chase Hill caught two 40-yard touchdown passes from Amani Larry. Parkway recovered two onsides kicks and played solid defensively, coaches said.
Airline’s Jordan Gladney tossed three touchdown passes. Jonathan Lacour, Michael Miller and Adrian Brooks were on the receiving end. Brooks also scored a rushing TD.
Antavious Freeman caught a two-point conversion pass.
Jacoby Decker rushed for 120 yards on 10 carries and and caught a 12-yard touchdown pass in Bossier’s JV victory.
Xavier Venious gained 85 yards on eight carries and scored a TD.
Roderick Andrews had 75 yards on nine carries, and Joe Robinson had 50 on eight.
Jayke Stewart completed three of five passes for 50 yards and the TD to Decker.
Bossier finished the season 8-2.
