A Bossier City man has been charged with multiple counts of producing and possessing child pornography, having sexual relations with juveniles and soliciting other girls for sexual relations.

Christopher R. Kerr, 26, of the 200 block of Melissa Ln. in Bossier City.
Reid Christopher Kerr,  26, of the 200 block of Melissa Ln. in Bossier City.

Reid Christopher Kerr, 26, of the 200 block of Melissa Ln. in Bossier City, was initially charged on May 7 with felony indecent behavior with a juvenile and computer-aided solicitation of a juvenile involving a Bossier 15-year-old female. Today, investigators levied more severe charges on Kerr, who had subbed in various Bossier Parish schools this school year and had been an umpire for school athletics.

He is now charged with three counts of production of child pornography, five counts of possession of child pornography, and three counts of felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile.

Detectives have identified at least four female victims aged 13-16 that Kerr either exchanged nude photos and videos or had sexual relations with. Victims are from Bossier and surrounding areas from the time period mid-2012 to present. Detectives also have explicit photos and videos of more than 30 other unidentified young females and anticipate additional charges against Kerr.

Bossier Sheriff’s detectives are also trying to identify other young girls who sent him nude photos and videos.

Detectives believe Kerr contacted girls through social media, such as SnapChat, Kik and Facebook Messenger.   Some of these girls actually had their phone number public in their profile, and Kerr would initiate contact and communicate with them. He would send the girls nude photos and videos and ask them for nude photos and videos of themselves. He has even met and had sexual relations with some young girls from Bossier and surrounding areas.

If you believe your child has been in communication with Kerr either through social media or contact while he worked as a substitute teacher or umpire or if your child sent him any photos or videos, please contact Lt. Shannon Mack at (318) 965-3418 or (318) 965-2203.
