Surplus vehicles from the Bossier Parish Police Jury and the City of Bossier City will be sold Saturday, April 1 at the Lawler Auction facility north of Shreveport on La. Hwy. 1.
Both agencies have declared a fleet of vehicles and equipment to be surplus and will be on the auction block beginning at 10 a.m. to be sold to the highest bidder. Gates open at 8 a.m. and buyers are encouraged to register early.
Included among the items to be sold are retired automobiles, pickup trucks, dump trucks, tractors, generators, air compressors, excavation equipment, lawn maintenance equipment, tamping equipment, computers, office equipment, file cabinets and much more.
Bossier Parish Police Jury items will remain at the parish highway department yard in Benton located at 410 Mayfield St. while the auction will be held at the Lawler facility, 7781 Highway 1 North, Shreveport. City of Bossier City items are located at the auction site.
Items for auction can be inspected at the Benton location and the auction facility Friday, March 31 from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. Interested individuals can also visit www.lawlerauction.com to view photos of the items and study terms of the auction.
