Detectives with the BCPD Property Crimes Unit have secured an arrest warrant for Tony B. Payton, 30, of Shreveport on charges of possession of stolen things and theft. An investigation found Payton pawned two large flat screen television sets that were taken in a residential burglary earlier this month.  The possession charge stems from Payton being in possession of the stolen TV’s and the theft charge is the result of the pawn shop being at a financial loss since it gave Payton money for the TV’s. Detectives also want to question Payton about the burglary as well as others that have occurred in recent weeks.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Tony Payton is urged to call Bossier Crime Stoppers at 318-424-4100. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward.
