Three men believed to be connected to four recent armed robberies in Bossier City have been arrested after a BCPD detective working a surveillance operation overnight caught them trying to commit yet another heist.

Jeremiah D. Henry, 22, Willie Solomon, 22, and Billy Earl Hervey, 28, all of Corsicana, Texas were taken into custody after police caught them in the act of trying to rob the Comfort Suites Hotel in the 7900 of East Texas Street at approximately 1:30 a.m. Saturday.

A Bossier City police detective who was stationed outside the hotel as part of a joint surveillance operation between the Bossier City Police Department and Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office observed Henry and Solomon approach the hotel and cover their faces before attempting to enter through a side door. After discovering that the door was locked, both suspects ran to an awaiting car with Hervey in the driver’s seat. The suspects initially tried to get away however they were quickly stopped and taken into custody on East Texas Street directly in front of the hotel by a host of officers that had responded to the scene.

All three suspects were arrested for attempted armed robbery and booked into the Bossier City Jail. They also face armed robbery charges after detectives linked them to Thursday’s armed robbery of the Hilton Garden Inn in the 2000 block of Old Minden Road.

Investigators say the three are also suspected of being involved in the July 31, 2015 armed robberies of the Circle K Store on Airline Drive and Brownlee Road, the Hampton Inn and Suites in the 2600 block of Viking Drive and the Quality Inn in the 2700 block of Village Lane however that component of the investigation continues.

The surveillance operation that was conducted overnight was in response to that series of robberies.
