Right about now I bet you could really use a little time out from the hustle and bustle of shopping, wrapping gifts, and decorating. In fact, there are several things going on at the library branches that can help you relax a bit. Just come as you are.
First, the East-80 library is hosting “Songs of the Seasons” presented by the Haughton Middle School Choir, directed by Mr. William Bond on Wednesday, Dec. 18, at 4:30 p.m. Cookies, coffee, and punch will be served after the program. This will be a real treat.
Next, a book signing by Jan Whitaker will take place in the lobby of the Central Library on Dec. 21, from 12-2 p.m. Ms. Whitaker’s new book is entitled, “Revitalizing, Inspirational Thought Conditioners.”
Finally, stop by Bossier Central Children’s Services to play the life size Candy Land game. The Children’s Library is decorated in a very merry holiday theme with a ginger bread house, ice castle, and a photo spot. The giant gameboard will be up the entire month of December. It is one of the most fun things for the kids to do at the library during the Christmas Season.
Make it a point to visit some of the other libraries in Bossier Parish where there are plenty of things to see and do.
Book it to the Bossier Libraries for a little Christmas fun. Merry Christmas from all of us at the Bossier Parish Libraries.
Make a note:
