Teenage pimp arrested for robbing deputy at gunpoint during sting

The Bossier Sheriff-Police Narcotics/Vice Task Force arrested three teenagers for armed robbery Wednesday after one of the teens acting as a pimp pulled a gun on an undercover narcotics agent and robbed him at gunpoint.  A fourth person, the mother of two of the male teens, was also arrested.

Arrested were:

  • Zachary N. Williams, 17, of Ft. Worth.  Charged with Armed Robbery with a Firearm, Pandering, and Resisting an Officer with Force.
  • Taylor Pickens, 19, of Ft. Worth.  Charged with Armed Robbery with a Firearm and Prostitution.
  • Jennifer N. L. Williams, 40, of Ft. Worth.  Charged with Contributing to the Delinquency of Juveniles/Crime of Violence, Resisting Arrest and Property Damage.
  • 15-year-old juvenile.  Charged with Armed Robbery with a Firearm and Misdemeanor Resisting an Officer.

Undercover agents with the task force had been conducting an undercover prostitution sting at a local Bossier hotel Wednesday while responding to an online Backpage ad, which is known to engage in solicitation of escort services and prostitution.  In the hotel room, an exchange of money was conducted between the undercover agent and Pickens.  Zachary Williams, boyfriend of Pickens, then emerged from the bathroom, pointed a firearm at the agent and demanded he give him money.  Other undercover agents soon entered the room and arrested Williams following a bit of resisting on his part.  The 15-year-old juvenile was also in the hotel room during the incident.

Jennifer Williams

Jennifer is the mother of both male teens, and she was in the casino while the robbery was taking place.  Detectives say she knew what was occurring and allowed her minor child and 17-year-old son, along with his 19-year-old girlfriend, to commit the crime.  The trio of teens would lure victims to a hotel room for purpose of exchanging sexual acts for money; instead of any sex acts, they would rob the victims at gunpoint.

Additionally, when Jennifer was being interviewed by Bossier deputies, she caused damage to the detective’s office.

Also during the investigation, detectives learned that the trio had conducted multiple armed robberies on other men responding to the Backpage ad on Aug. 22 and 23.  Detectives are asking anyone who was a victim of an armed robbery during that time or any other time to please contact the Bossier Sheriff’s Office at (318) 965-2203 or Bossier Crimestoppers at (318) 424-4100.

The Bossier Sheriff-Police Narcotics/Vice Task Force comprises deputies with the Bossier Sheriff’s Office and officers with the Bossier City Police Department.
