The Bossier City Police Department, in partnership with the City of Bossier, the Bossier
City Fire Department, the Bossier City Marshal’s Office, the Bossier Parish Sheriff’s
Office, and neighborhoods across the community, invites residents to participate in
National Night Out (NNO) 2025. This year’s celebration, designed to heighten crime
prevention awareness and strengthen police-community relations, will be held
on October 7, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-
community partnerships and camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more
caring places to live.
“National Night Out is an excellent opportunity for our residents to come together and
engage with our officers in a relaxed, family-friendly environment,” said Police Chief
Daniel Haugen. ” We believe that strong relationships between law enforcement and the
community are key to making our city a safe place for everyone. We look forward to
seeing our neighbors and working together to build an even stronger community.
Neighborhoods and local community organizations are encouraged to host block
parties, cookouts, and special events. During the event, police officers and other first
responders will visit registered events to meet residents and participate in the
festivities.
