The Community Foundation of North Louisiana will begin accepting applications for its 2016 competitive grant cycle on Tuesday, September 1, 2015.
For the third year grant funds from the United Way of Northwest Louisiana will also be awarded through this process. Nonprofit organizations serving north Louisiana are encouraged to apply. Applicants must have 501(c)3 status prior to submitting an application. Visit www.cfnla.org for detailed eligibility requirements.
To streamline the application process, a letter of intent is no longer required. Applicants are asked to submit a full application by Thursday, October 15 at 4 p.m. Interested organizations are required to attend one mandatory orientation session prior to submitting the application.

More than $2.7 million in grants to 63 recipients was awarded in the 2015 competitive grant process, including $583,000 from the United Way of Northwest Louisiana Grant Fund. A complete list of all the grantees and amounts awarded can be found on The Community Foundation’s website, www.cfnla.org.
