BOSSIER CITY – God brought Mr. Thomas W. Smith into this world on March 18, 1963. Brother Tom, a devote father, Christian, and hunter was called home Friday, April 25, 2014. “It shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one Sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the Lord” (Isaiah 66:23). Brother Tom was preceded in death by his parents: Thomas and Anita Smith and beautiful daughter, Tracy Smith. Left to cherish his memories are: his lovely wife, Carol Smith; whom just celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary on April 21, 2014; daughter, Tiffany Smith; son, Travis Smith; granddaughter, Zoey Ann; and numerous other brothers and sisters of the Lord. Visitation will be held at Stockwell Road Missionary Baptist located at 2201 Stockwell Rd. Bossier City, LA 71111 from 6-8 pm on Monday, April 28, 2014. Funeral services will be at Stockwell Road Missionary Baptist at 10 am on Tuesday, April 29, 2014. Pallbearers will be Randy Arinder, Alex Glenn, Jack Jordan, Alan Perdue, Homer Stout and Billy Tollison. Honorary pallbearers will be Bro. Fred Steward and Bro. King. Brother Tom would like everyone to know that, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness” (2 Timothy 3:16). Please celebrate your loved ones and tell them that, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).
