Three Bossier Bearkats have been named to the All-District 1-3A football first team selected by the coaches.
They are running back Chris Hall, offensive guard Jalen Oliver and placekicker Alex Galvan.
Hall, a 5-foot-9, 174-pound senior, rushed for 597 yards on 119 carries and scored three touchdowns.
Oliver, a 5-foot-8, 181-pound senior, played center as well as guard. He was a three-year stater.
Galvan, a senior, was a perfect 14-of-14 on extra-point kicks. He also made two field goals.
Four Bearkats made the second team — senior running back Chris Williams, senior offensive tackle Donnie Edwards, junior linebacker Isaiah McKinsey and senior defensive back Sammy Devors.
Williams rushed for 651 yards on 114 carries and scored four touchdowns. McKinsey had 55 tackles. Devors had 38 tackles and three interceptions.
The Bearkats went 1-9 and 0-5 in district play.
Senior wide receiver Jared Cornelious of district champion Evangel was named the Offensive MVP. Evangel senior lineman Chris Bradley was named Defensive MVP. Evangel’s Byron Dawson was selected Coach of the Year.
