Bossier City Chief of Police Shane McWilliams tannounced the promotions of three police officers Wednesday.
The officers received their promotions during a ceremony at the Bossier City Police Department with family members and department personnel in attendance.
- Robert McArthur was promoted to the rank of lieutenant. Lt. McArthur has been a member of the Bossier City Police Department since 1991.
- Thomas Delrie (pronounced del-ree) was promoted to the rank of lieutenant. Lt. Delrie has been a member of the Bossier City Police Department since 1992.
- Jay Halverson was promoted to the rank of sergeant. Sgt. Halverson has been a member of the Bossier City Police Department since 2000.
All three officers are assigned to the BCPD’s patrol division.
