HAUGHTON – Born September 21, 1915, in Atlanta, Arkansas to Marv and Anne Beaty and being the youngest of eleven children, Tom died March 22, 2014.

Funeral will be Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at 3:00 P.M., at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel. The Family will be receiving visitors from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Monday March 24, 2014 at Hill Crest funeral Home. Services will be conducted by Bro. Billy Pierce and Bro. Gevan Spinney

Being a member of “The Greatest Generation”, Tom served in the U.S. Army during WWII. After discharge he became an electrician and retired as the Superintendent of the electric shop at Barksdale Air Force Base with 30 years of service. He was a member of the Haughton Methodist Church and the Haughton Masonic Lodge for over 50 years. He enjoyed wood working in his shop and traveling in his retirement years.

Tom was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Helen S. Beaty; and all of his brothers and sisters. He is survived by two sons, Mike of Haughton; and Lynn and wife Donna of Haughton; grandchildren, Jennifer Blakey and husband Clint, Maranda Turner and husband David, Travis Beaty and wife Christi, and Christopher “Flea” Beaty and wife Angela; great-grandchildren, Jewel Blakey, Jordan Parker, Dylan Turner, Gus Beaty, Christian Turner, and Brooks Beaty.

Pallbearers will be Travis Beaty, Christopher “Flea” Beaty, David Turner, Larry Crow, George Crow and Ted Ward
