Traffic advisory for Sunday’s unity march

The Bossier City Police Department is advising motorists to be aware of some traffic flow changes that will be in place Sunday evening at 6:00 p.m. during the 2 City Walk for Equality and Justice.

The Bossier City portion of the route will run from the East Texas Street at Hamilton Road west to the Texas Street Bridge.

A number of Bossier City police officers will be stationed along the route to assist with traffic control.

There will be no access to East Texas Street from Hamilton Rd. west. Traffic moving north and south can use River Colony Drive. The roadways along East Texas Street will gradually reopen to vehicle traffic once all participants have passed those sections of the route.
