Turkey Trot continues holiday tradition

The 2017 Turkey Trot 3-mile run will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Thanksgiving morning, Nov. 23  at the Stoner boat launch.  The half-mile fun run begins at 8 a.m. Registration is open at Sportspectrum and will be open at the race site the morning of the race. This year Sportspectrum is teaming with the Food Bank of NWLA.

“Turkey Trot has truly become an important holiday tradition in our community,” said Matt Brown, owner of Sportspectrum.  “Many families may only run with out of town relatives once a year at Turkey Trot.  We always have over 20 states represented in the field.”
