The road construction project that has been on going for the past 5 months in the 5400 Blk. of Barksdale will be complete and open for travel on the afternoon of Thursday Dec. 5th. This turn lane project has been approved by the Dept. of Transportation and is now completed. Once open this turn lane will greatly assist with traffic flow and limit traffic delays into the Golden Meadows Subdivision. With the opening of the new turn lane motorists are still encouraged to be alert and drive safely while turning.
