The pair is accused of robbing a man at the Cross Country Apartments in the 1900 block of East Texas Street Monday night. Powell reportedly lured the victim, who had recently met Powell on Facebook, to Seamster’s apartment.

When the victim arrived, Seamster came out of a closet, pulled out a knife and robbed him of his mobile phone and money. Seamster and Powell then forced the victim into his 2003 Lincoln Aviator and drove him to the intersection of Hamilton Road and Shed Road where they made him exit the vehicle. Powell and Seamster then drove off with the victim’s vehicle.

The victim was not injured.

Following an overnight investigation, detectives took Powell and Seamster into custody this morning and subsequently arrested them. Detectives also recovered the victim’s vehicle.

Powell and Seamster were both booked into the Bossier City Jail.
