Two suspects have been arrested following a Bossier City Police investigation into sex crimes involving a juvenile.
Shelly Carey, 42, of Bossier City, LA was arrested last week on the charges of 3rd degree rape, cruelty to juveniles, and indecent behavior with juveniles.
Bryant Smiley, 27, of Haughton, LA was taken into custody Monday afternoon in Bossier Parish by the US Marshals Service on a warrant for 3rd degree rape, cruelty to juveniles, and indecent behavior with juveniles.
Carey and Smiley are accused of committing sexual acts in front of a 13-year-old girl after forcing her to smoke methamphetamine in a hotel room. Detectives also determined that Smiley had sexual intercourse with the juvenile victim.
Both suspects are incarcerated at the Bossier Parish jail facility. Booking photos of the suspects were not available at this time.
