Two Bossier players make All-District 1-3A baseball first team

Bossier’s Zach McKnight and Hunter Courtney have been named to the All-District 1-3A baseball first team.
McKnight and Courtney, both seniors, were selected as utility players.
Courtney batted .475 with a home run, 21 RBIs and 19 stolen bases.
McKnight batted .490 with 12 RBIs and 25 stolen bases.
Four Bearkats were named to the second team — senior first baseman Khalil Bolden, senior third baseman Alex Galvan, sophomore outfielder David Dunson and senior outfielder Curtis Brown.
Evangel junior Ryne Ray of Benton was named the MVP. Ray, a catcher who helped the Eagles win their second straight state title, hit .394 with six home runs and 26 RBIs.
