Two Bossier Parish teens being held in Ware Youth Center in Red River Parish committed suicide within three days of each other.

The Red River Parish Sheriff’s office said a 17-year-old hanged himself with his bed sheets February 7 and a 13-year-old did the same Saturday night.

Authorities don’t believe they are connected or there is any foul play involved.

Both teens were sent to Ware following arrests in Bossier Parish.

The names are not being released due to their age and manner of death.
