Two cited for underage alcohol sales

The Bossier Combined Narcotics Task Force cited two persons for selling alcohol to underage buyers last week.

Following an undercover operation Wednesday evening in which eight businesses in Bossier Parish were checked for compliance, summons for unlawful sale of alcohol to persons under 21 were issued to:

Tracy A. Bramlett, 48, of the 6000 block of Highway 160 in Cotton Valley, employed at Dixie Mart on the corner of Highway 3 and Burt Blvd in Benton.

William L. Burk, 23, of the 190 block of Jessie Jones Drive in Benton, employed at Country Corner on the corner of Parks Road and Linton Road in Benton.

The Bossier Combined Narcotics Task Force was established in October 2012 by Bossier Sheriff Julian Whittington and Bossier City Police Chief Shane McWilliams as a combined effort to combat illegal drug activity and associated crimes all throughout Bossier Parish.
