Two men arrested for drive-by shooting


Bossier Sheriff’s Office detectives have arrested two local men for a drive-by style shooting in Haughton.

Deion Sanders Bryant, 21, of the 100 block of Maeshack Rd. in Haughton, and Keiuntre Meshaun Normindin, 20, of the 52000 block of Hwy 157 in Haughton, each were arrested on two counts of Attempted Second-Degree Murder for the drive-by style shootings of two homes in the 5500 block of Hwy 157.

Detectives say just after midnight on Feb. 12, Sheriff Deputies responded to a call of shots being fired at two homes in Haughton. There they found multiple bullet holes in a house occupied with six juveniles and one adult. Only one bullet hole was found in the other home that was occupied by two adults.

There were no injuries reported by the occupants from either of the homes. Detectives believe the shots were fired from a moving vehicle.

Both men are currently booked in the Bossier Maximum Security Facility where bond has been set for two-hundred fifty thousand dollars for each count of Attempted Second-Degree Murder, for each suspect, with total being five-hundred thousand each.
