Two men wanted for trailer and ATV theft

Detectives with the Bossier Parish Sheriff Office are looking for two men caught on surveillance video stealing a trailer loaded with a utility tasked vehicle (UTV) recently from a business in Haughton.

The theft occurred at the Sullivan & Sons Instrumentation Company in the 400 block of Covington Road in Haughton on Feb. 28.  Detectives obtained surveillance video showing a white male running across the parking lot of the business just before 10 p.m.

Detectives believe he opened the gate, allowing another man seen driving a red sport utility vehicle (SUV) onto the lot and hitching up to the trailer parked at the business.   The two men then drove away with the stolen trailer in tow, described as a Grey DFH Utility Trailer, loaded with a Green Polaris Ranger 800 UTV.

The thieves drove an SUV described as a red, four-door Chevrolet Tahoe with after-market wheels. Detectives say this is the same vehicle used in a similar crime committed in the Bossier City area.

Anyone with information about this crime or the vehicle used in the crime are asked to contact Bossier Crime Stoppers with your anonymous tip at (318) 424-4100.
