Two women featured in a recent Bossier Crime Stoppers report that were wanted for questioning in connection with an armed robbery now face charges of attempted first degree murder.
Detectives with the BCPD’s Violent Crimes Unit have arrested Sharnise Leshay Reed, 19, of Bossier City for attempted first degree murder and armed robbery. Detectives have also secured an arrest warrant for Kierra Diamond Ball, 17, of Bossier City charging her with attempted first degree murder.
The attempted first degree murder charges stem from an incident that happened on June 11 in which both women were involved in the armed robbery of a man in 900 block of Modica Street that resulted in Ball shooting the victim once in the leg. The armed robbery charge against Reed is connected to her involvement in the robbery of another man on June 10 in the 600 block of McDade Street.
Reed was arrested after security camera photos of her were distributed to the media on Tuesday. Reed turned herself over to Bossier City Police that evening after seeing her photos in a news report. The investigation that followed then lead to detectives getting an arrest warrant for Ball who was also seen with Reed in the photos which were taken at a local convenient store where the two used a credit card that was taken in the June 10 robbery.
A male subject who is also seen in the photos does not face charges at this time however the investigation into the two armed robberies continues.
