On Thursday, February 5, the Bossier Chamber of Commerce is set to host U.S. Chamber of
Commerce’s Tom Wickham as part of their Public Policy Series, presented by Willis
Knighton Health.

Tom Wickham is the Vice President and Managing Director of the U.S. Chamber’s
Government Affairs where he helps oversee a team of D.C. and regional U.S. Chamber
lobbyists and serves as the Chamber’s policy lead on anti-crime efforts.

With over 25 years of experience on Capitol Hill and extensive knowledge about a wide
range of policy topics, Tom has leveraged his expertise to achieve legislative victories at the
federal, state, and local level.

The event on February 5 will be the first of the Bossier Chamber’s 2026 Public Policy Series
lineup and will include lunch and a presentation from Tom Wickham about the state of
government affairs.

The Bossier Chamber’s Public Policy series aims to inform and connect Bossier Chamber
members with officials at the federal and state levels through educational events. These
events allow attendees to hear from experts about what’s really going on in Louisiana’s
government and policies, learn about how our tax dollars are being spent and where
changes have been taking place.

Additional Public Policy Series events will be held throughout the calendar year, with more
information to be announced.

This series was made possible thanks to presenting sponsor Willis Knighton Health and
supporting sponsors Barksdale Federal Credit Union and Expand Energy.
