Visit Shreveport-Bossier Announces Exclusive Dining Experiences for 318 Restaurant Week 2024

Shreveport-Bossier, LA – Locals and visitors of Shreveport-Bossier know 318 Restaurant Week gives them the best deals on breakfast, lunch, dinner and more during the month of March. Now, Visit Shreveport-Bossier is unveiling the all-star line-up of local chefs and restaurants providing exceptional culinary experiences that are exclusive to this foodie week of fun. These dining experiences are set to tantalize taste buds from March 17 – 23, 2024.

Kicking off the festivities on March 17, food enthusiasts can dive into the sweet traditions of the region with Lilah’s King Cake Making Class. Participants will tour Lilah’s Bakery, where the carnival magic happens each season, and learn the sugary secrets of King Cake while baking your very own masterpiece.

Also on March 17, culinary aficionados are invited to join ‘About Us Up North’ Culinary Experience with Chef Hardette Harris. Join the creator of the official meal of North Louisiana, 2017 Louisianian of the Year, and 2024 James Beard Award nominee Chef Hardette Harris, for an immersive cooking demo of an authentic North Louisiana meal.

On March 18, the celebration continues with Fête 318 – Orlandeaux’s Cross Lake Cafe with Chef Damien “Chapeaux” Chapman. Enjoy the flavors of 318 with a celebration of Shreveport-Bossier cuisine with award-winning Chef Damien “Chapeaux” Chapman. Food trucks, live music, specialty drinks, and fun will be had with complimentary entrance for all.

On March 19, 318 Restaurant Week goer’s can engage in a transformative Sensory Coffee Experience led by certified experts Gabbie and Pierce. Learn to view coffee in a new light through guided cupping sessions and curated charcuterie boards, leaving with newfound knowledge and a bag of your favorite brew.

Experience a taste of Germany on March 20 with a German dinner at Sauvage with Chef Zoran. Explore this exciting dining experience with Chef Zoran and his German expertise. Sauvage uses top-quality ingredients to create unique dishes from scratch.

March 21 brings the vibrant flavors of Oaxaca, Mexico, to the table with Oaxacan Night at El Cabo Verde with Chef Gabriel Balderas. Chef Gabriel, a native of Oaxaca, Mexico, grew up learning recipes from his mother and grandmother. Join him and his diverse team for an evening of adoration for food with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors.

Embark on a cultural journey on March 22 with A Taste of Lion Mountain African Dining Experience with Chef Niema DiGrazia. Take a cultural journey with Chef Niema DiGrazia’s three-course dining adventure inspired by western Africa’s Lion Mountain. No passports are required for this culinary expedition at the Southern Museum of Art.

Round out the week on March 23 with two exceptional experiences. Join Chef Chris Holden at MS Kick for the Best of Brunch. During this cooking class, guests will learn the tips and tricks of creating a classic three-course brunch filled with various favorites, from grits to bread pudding, and making the perfect roux from scratch.

Also concluding 318 Restaurant Week isan unforgettable dining experience at 2nd Act Supper Club with Chef Anthony Felan. Guests will enjoy a lovely evening dining with award-winning Chef Anthony Felan in a 100-year-old Historic Highland building and eating a 4-course dinner paired with a cocktail showcasing spirits made from NOËL Family Distillery of Donaldsonville, Louisiana.
