Wallet theft suspect sought, reward offered

The Bossier Financial Crimes Task Force along with Bossier Crime Stoppers are asking the public for help with identifying and locating a woman suspected of stealing a pair of women’s wallets at a local business and then making authorized purchases with the victims’ bank cards.

Wallet Thefts SuspectThe theft occurred in April at the Sheer Rezults Hair Salon in the 4500 block of Barksdale Boulevard. The suspect entered the salon and took two wallets out of two purses then left unbeknownst to the victims.

The suspect then used bank cards that were inside the wallets to make more than $700 in purchases at the Dollar General Store in the 4600 block of Barksdale Boulevard and the Walmart in the 2500 block of Airline Drive that same day.

The suspect was caught on security camera video exiting the Walmart and leaving in a blue pickup truck. She has black shoulder length hair and was wearing a black t-shirt with a red and white graphic on the front, black pants and flip flop type sandals. She was also carrying a white purse.

Callers to Crime Stoppers are reminded they may remain totally anonymous and could be eligible for a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest.
