Water service will be shut off in a portion of Dogwood subdivision beginning at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25 to repair a leak and damaged valve. Service is expected to be restored by early Tuesday morning.
Areas of Dogwood that will be affected include Dogwood South, Red Fox Circle, Silver Fox, Blue Fox Circle, Grey Fox Circle, Fox Cove, Fox Nest, Applewood, Peachwood and Woodsprings.
Also, Eagle Nest, Blackwood Circle, Pearwood Circle, Fox Den, Lauren, Hannah, Oscar, Satinwood, Silver Oaks Circle and Heatherbrook south of White Oak Drive.
A boil advisory will be issued for the area once service is restored and will continue until water system samples are cleared by the state health department.
Repairs are being completed at night in order to minimize inconvenience for residents of the area.
