Casey Aline Horneman and David deGravelles Risher of Bossier City were united in marriage on the evening of Saturday, October 24, 2015, during a six o’clock ceremony at St. Mark’s Cathedral. Officiating was the Very Reverend Alston Johnson.
The bride is the daughter of Robert and Brenda Horneman of Bossier City and the granddaughter of Mrs. Mary Rosalee Martin and Mr. & Mrs. Michael Patton.
The groom is the son of Greg and Roane Risher of Bossier City and the grandson of Mrs. Jane Roane deGravelles and Mrs. Maunette Barrow Risher.
The bride was given away in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father.
Jessica Tyree, sister of the bride, served as the Matron of Honor. Bridesmaids were Beverly Burgin, Kristen Collins, Erin Corbett, Menda Davis, Concetta King. Junior bridesmaids were Allison Risher and Megan Risher.
Abby Tyree and Riley Risher served as the flower girls.
Steven Risher served as the best man. Groomsmen were Andrew Cordaro, Matt Deshotels, Matt Horneman, Ryan Porche, Garic Williams. Ushers were Ben Levy, Ben Pontiff, Parker Williams.
Colt Tyree and Caleb Risher served as ring bearers.
The ceremony was decorated with flowers by Judy Shipp with Gild the Lily. Music for the ceremony was provided by organist Bryan T. Mithaul.
A reception in honor of the couple followed at the Shreveport Scottish Rite and was decorated with flowers by Judy Shipp with Gild the Lily.
The bride is a graduate of Loyola College Prep, LSU Baton Rouge and received her masters at LSU-Shreveport. She is a member of the Delta Delta Delta sorority.
The groom is a graduate of Vandebilt Catholic in Houma and Louisiana Tech University. He is a member of the Kappa Alpha fraternity.
Following a honeymoon trip to Costa Rica, the couple will reside in Bossier City.
