Weekend shooting injures Shreveport man

The Bossier City Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred early Saturday morning at a residence in the 2900 block of Rebel Drive.

Police were called to the scene just after 4 a.m. and found the victim, Christopher Paul Davis, 30, of Shreveport, with gunshot wounds to his upper body. Police say the victim, who had been staying at the residence, was inside the house when a male subject entered through the front door and attempted to rob him and two others who were also in the house. At one point during the incident the gunman fired his weapon stiking the victim. Two other men where not injured. Bossier City Fire Department personnel took the victim to University Health in Shreveport where he was last listed in stable condition. 

The gunman then reportedly fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction. The suspect is described as a black male,  5″10″ to 6′ tall, slender build and approximately 160 pounds. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Bossier Crime Stoppers at (318) 424-4100.
