Grocer will offer suppliers tips for getting products on its shelves
SHREVEPORT, La. (Feb. 11, 2015) Kelly Landrieu, Whole Foods Market’s local product forager in Louisiana, will lead a Local 101 class Friday, Feb. 27 from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Shreveport Convention Center Red River Ballroom, 400 Caddo St. This free program will cover in-depth information on Whole Foods Market’s quality standards, food safety, retail-ready packaging, regulatory requirements and the process for becoming a supplier.
Local 101 is open to all current and aspiring Louisiana food and lifestyle artisans, manufacturers and producers. As seating is limited, individuals interested in attending should email email@example.com to secure a Local 101 spot.
