Wilfred Neal Liebig

BOSSIER CITY – Memorial service will be held in Neal’s honor on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Central Assembly of God Chapel. The service will be officiated by Pastor Andy Harris. A graveside service will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park.

Neal was born on September 17, 1930 in French Camp, CA to Jacob and Flora Mae Gaunt. He went home to be with the Lord on May 6, 2014 after an automobile accident in Bossier City, LA. He lived and grew up on a vineyard farm and ranch environment in Lodi, CA and graduated from Lodi High School. Neal was a Realtor before joining the Navy during the Korean War. He was also an avid supporter of his church, Central Assembly of God, where he attended for 14 years. He was a strong Christian man.

He married Nadine Elizabeth Horst in 1959 and they had three sons, Neal, Stuart, and Arthur Liebig. Later in life, he married the love of his life, Florence, and was married 25 years until her passing.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Florence, and his son, Stuart Liebig.

Neal is survived by his sons, Neal Glen Liebig and wife Rhonda, and Arthur Hugh Liebig; granddaughter, Brenda Kay Walter and husband Kevin; Flo’s children, Karen, David and Diane and two great grandchildren, Lilly and Jay Walter.
