Tuesday afternoon: 

The Benton Road overpass has been closed in advance of severe winter weather.

Bossier Schools will cancel classes Wednesday, February 12. The National Weather Service anticipates rain and freezing temperatures that could result in the accumulation of a quarter-inch or more of ice on elevated surfaces, such as bridges and overpasses, making it unsafe for students and employees to travel.

All City of Bossier City administrative offices including Bossier City Council and Bossier City Court will be closed Wednesday, February 12 due to the forecast of icy weather. Persons scheduled to appear in city court tomorrow will be notified of an alternate date.

I-220 is closed until further notice.

BPCC, LSUS will be closed Wednesday. LSUS classes will resume at 5 p.m. on Wednesday.

Wednesday morning:

Wednesday Bossier City trash collection routes are running today, however crews are getting off to a late start due to the icy road conditions.

The Bossier Parish Courthouse is closed today and will reopen on Thursday.
