Winter Weather Watch at Bossier Schools

After a briefing today with the National Weather Service and Bossier Parish emergency agencies, it was decided Bossier Schools will be open Thursday, January 9. However, the YEP program will be canceled and all extracurricular and after-school activities will be postponed until a later time.  

We will continue to carefully monitor the forecast and provide an update at 4 p.m. Thursday regarding school operations on Friday.

• Search ‘Bossier Schools’ in your phone’s app store and download the app.
• Select ‘Personalize Notifications’ when prompted on initial download to ensure you receive notifications
• Then, select ‘Bossier Parish Schools.’
