The Bossier Parish Community College Lady Cavs improved to 2-0 in Region XIV play with a 78-73 victory over San Jacinto-North College Wednesday afternoon at BPCC.
Freshman Ashlyn Jacobs, a former Mansfield star, led the Lady Cavs with 21 points. Samarius Colquitt and T’Erika Bell scored 15 each.
San Jacinto dropped to 7-3 and 1-1.
BPCC, which improved to 5-3 overall, continues conference play at 2 p.m. Saturday against Blinn College in Brenham, Texas.
