Wrestling: Parish teams get wins in Haughton tournament

Airline, Haughton, Benton and Parkway all won matches in the Haughton Duals tournament Saturday.

Airline defeated Bossier and Lakeside. Haughton downed Huntington and Bossier. Benton defeated North DeSoto and Parkway. Parkway picked up a win over Lakeside.

Airline’s winners against Bossier were Joshua Partin (120 pounds), Javarious Jones (126), Dalton Lambright (132), Scott Prouty (138), Christian Walden (145), Darrell Evans (160), Keegan Gilligan (170), Matt Salinas (182), Tyler Almond (195), Eric McGuire (220) and Courtney Turner (285).

The Vikings’ winners against Lakeside were Partin, Jones, Prouty, Lambright, Walden, Evans, Gilligan, Salinas, Almond and McGuire.

Haughton’s winners against Huntington were Devante Cooper (106), Cameron Carter (113), Zach Knowles (120), Dylan Holliday (126), Ryley Snellgrove (132), Austin Brands (195) and Jonathan McCleskey (285).

The Bucs’ winners against Bossier were Carter, Cayleb Bounds (113), Knowles, Snellgrove, Holliday, Cameron Fread (170), Johnny Vanveckhoven (220) and McCleskey.

Bossier got wins from Cedric McKinsey (138), Rodney Nelson (145), Dion Venious (160), Kelvin Brooks (182) and Isaiah McKinsey (195).
