The Benton Lady Tigers and Providence Classical Academy Lady Knights picked up victories Thursday on Day 1 of the Benton Lady Tiger Classic.
Benton defeated Zwolle 60-46 and PCA downed Green Oaks 59-19.
In the other game, Plain Dealing fell to Ruston 82-47.
Taylor Brown led Benton with 17 points. Addison Morris added 12. Pazile’ra Sanders paced Zwolle with 12.
Keyton Southerland led PCA (8-1) with 14 points.
Jakayla Douglas scored 28 points to lead Plain Dealing (7-6). Brianna Newton chipped in 11.
Kiersynce led Ruston with 17 points. Angelica Green had 14, Samiya Lewis 13 and Gioia Tatum 12.
The tournament continues Friday. Zwolle (13-8) plays Lakeside (2-10) at 4 p.m., Captain Shreve (15-3) meets Ruston (6-7) at 5:30 and Minden (6-6) faces Benton (14-7) at 7.
